What is sponsor a child program ?

This is a unique relationship between you and your sponsored child

What (YOU) sponsor can expect?:

YOU will explore and experience a Meaningful Personal Change in your life. You will be filled with a sense of deep fulfillment that knows no bounds.

YOU will bond with your child when

• the child writes to you 2-3 times an year
• the child sends you drawings if child unable write
• the child sends you a hand made New Year greeting with a recent photograph in January
• you enjoy your special privilege of meeting the child
• you send your message of love through letters and cards

YOU get Tax Exemption. YFS qualifies your contribution for tax exemption under Section 80G as it’s a nonprofit organization. You will receive a receipt acknowledging your tax exemted contribution.

How do I know if my contribution is properly utilised or not?

1. This project is administred by Youth For Seva (YFS).YFS fills the gap of connecting youth with an intention to volunteer and with different time commitments to meaningful opportunities to serve the community. Youth for Seva is a project of the ‘Hindu Seva Pratishthana.’(www.hinduseva.org), which has been in the forefront of social service for nearly three decades. 2. You would receive report from YFS about status of your sponsored child once in six months.
3. You would receive  annual audited financial statement from YFS.
4. You will be able to contact your sponsored child through YFS

Mode of payments:

1. You may donate one time Rs.6000/- per child or set up online transfer.
2. To donate on a monthly basis, you can setup recurring transfer of Rs.500/- every monnth to YFS account.
3. Please contact us if you would like to donate in any other frequency.

Type of payments:

1. You may mail a cheque/DD made payable to “HSP-Youth for Seva”.
   The address is:“Youth For Seva,
   8/28, Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi,
   Bangalore – 560004″.
   Please remember to mention your mailing address so that a tax deductible receipt can be sent.

2. You may transfer your donation online to the YFS bank account and send an email to
   info@youthforseva.org regarding the money transfer. Your email should include details such as,
   -The transaction #,
   -name of the bank from which the amount was transferred and
   -your home address.
